I perform(ed) the night audit about
twice a week at a hotel in Alexandria, VA ( Metro Washington DC ).
Each time I do - I have to share different reports with the general manager, the head accountant, and the director of sales.
I used to just write their names on a 8.5 x 11 folded sheet of paper to form a folder to put them in. That was rather dull.
I decided to make the 'folder' a little more interesting by drawing / adding a quote. Other co-workers started enjoying them and so I began posting them to the back office bulletin board. Several months later,... the 'collection' had grown.
Here they are ( I made an earnest attempt to share them in the chronologial order in which they were made. Remember, I did these at work So, I had to sketch them up quickly (because they don't pay me to draw!).
For My co-workers - across all departments... Even through I can't greet you all by name... I love and admire you all. You help make our hotel run - and our hotel running... helps me to feed my children. This makes me very grateful to everyone that's a part of our team. If by chance - a guest runs across this page - know that I especially share this very same sentiment with you.

The above occurred between March 17, 2016 and March 20, 2017 (when I drew the last quote - A span of a Year's Time!).
About a 9 years ago I began drawing "Knight ( play on words... Night Audit" ) Themes" on the large envelope we leave the audit's reports in for the hotel's accountant.
I'm not currently doing any artwork relating to my night audit duties. Taking time to prepare a marketing proposal / business plan
to
host this online gallery / merchant services directory;
and to finally take art courses / school - to further develop my artistic/creative talents.
With the
support of my current employer - I hope to launch this site as a service to merchants and the communities we'll serve.
